All the other reviews say it all. This remote was easy as pie to program. And the learning function really makes this remote. Now I never have to touch those other remotes again! I just put an order in for a second one. Thumbs up.

Infrared and bluetooth controller in one. You can’t go wrong with this. The four stars is for the small keys and the coating which is starting to peel off after weeks of use.

I ordered this a week ago, set it up according to the instructions, and discovered, regardless of being extremely diligent when it came to transferring existing remotes, that it just didn’t do it all. It could not control the smaller functions of the Satellite DVR or the Sony TV. It didn’t come close to matching the components and functions of my SONY STR DH800 stereo receiver. While it did a pretty good job of controlling the PS3, I decided that the difference between $50 and $20 for a [strictly] PS3 remote device was significant enough for me to send the former back and order the latter, which works perfectly.
In other words if you just want an easy to use remote for your Sony PS3 buy the one Amazon advertises for less than $20.

The remote layout and the programming feature are nice (though my remote is defective so I can’t use the latter feature) but there are a few things you should know about this remote before purchase:
1. Most buttons have no backlight. This becomes a hassle if you are watching a movie in a pitch black room, as is the case for projector owners.
2. Not suitable for projector control–the buttons are not similar to buttons of projector remote controls.
3. Customer support–the person I spoke with sounded like he was doing me a favor for picking up the phone. Condescending attitude with occasional sighs, and it’s not because I am a clueless person–I am technically advanced and used to be a PC technician.
I would suggest sticking to the old Playstation 3 remote control until another remote from a reputable company comes out. This remote has little more to offer other than it being programmable.

I bought this remote so I would no longer have to fumble around with 4 remotes/controllers to work my TV, TiVo, stereo, and PS3. It works well with my Samsung HDTV and the PS3 but it sorta works with my TiVo and stereo. When I put in one certain code for my stereo it will turn it on but not off and just the opposite with another code. And with the TiVo it will rewind, fast forward, and pause, but it wont go to the TiVo menu or change channels. When I was using it for my TiVo remote the only button that would change the channel was the Square button for PS3 and Circle would go to the previous channel. I hope there is something they can do to fix these problems.
